Healthy Chocolate Bark Recipe

Looking for something quick, easy, and delicious? Oh what about nutritious? This is a keeper!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 box dark or milk organic chocolate ~preferably with green tea and adaptogens >>they help fight stress!<< WOOT!
  • raw almonds
  • walnuts
  • cranberries

*Modification for post workout: add 1 scoop of chocolate undenatured whey protein

RECIPE:

Melt chocolate on low heat and put onto cookie sheet. Sprinkle ingredients in and pat down. Chill for 20 min.

YUMMOOO! Pop in your mouth when you are craving something crunchy and sweet!

Chipotle Chicken Sausage

Organic Chipotle Chicken Sausage with tomatoes, onions, garlic and brown rice.. Seriously thee easiest and most delish dinner for the whole fam! YUMMO! 

 

Sautee onions, garlic in EVOO while heating the chicken sausage. Chop up the sausage into bite sized pieces and then add into pan with can of organic chopped tomatoes. Add back in the onions and garlic to heat and season! Serve over brown rice or Quinoa. Enjoy! Easy Peasy! :)

AVOCADO SALSA

Ingredients

  • organic tomatoes diced
  • chopped red onion
  • 1 large jalapeños, seeded and chopped (1/4 cup. leave the seeds if you love spicy like we do!)
  • 3-4 medium ripe avocados, semi-firm but ripe, peeled, cored and diced
  • a few Tbsp's olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp fresh lime juice (lemon is good too!)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • tsp salt (season to taste)
  • black pepper
  • KEY INGREDIENT: chopped up cilantro!!!

This is a cleanse approved snack...I love adding this Avocado Salsa to Mary's Gone Crackers, Brown Rice Cakes, Ezekiel Toast, or my favorite Sprouted Grain Chips>> Recipe here>>

Cauliflower Fries

Super easy Recipe!

As you might have noticed from reading my blog, I am obsessed with making vegetables fun and exciting for my family to enjoy..I especially love how versatile cauliflower is. Check out the Cauliflower Pizza and Cauliflower Sauce recipes too!

<THIS IS A Healthy alternative for French Fries>

  1. Preheat oven for 350 degrees
  2. Grab a Head of Cauliflower and slice in thin slivers
  3. Place cut up pieces of Cauliflower spaced out on pan and rub on some EVOO

  4. Add some seasoning; I stick to the basics with this one and use Salt and Pepper

  5. Throw in oven (not literally lol) til they start to get crispy, make sure to keep an eye on them so they do not burn. Mine usually take 35min since I like them on the more well done side. 

  6. Put on a plate as a side dish or a healthy snack with a dollop of organic ketchup!

It's amazing how they really do satisfy that french fry craving..I love making these to compliment my turkey burgers!
