Brahmacharya-Moderation

This mornings practice was connecting and directing our awareness to opening our hearts and consciousness with the intention of practicing, the Yama, Brahmacharya. The principle of focusing our attention on moderation and letting go. Sometimes we load up our days with things to do, living to eat, living to work, stuck in the cycle of overwhelm and chaos. Take a deep breath and redirect your energyto finding your balance in all of Life. Change your mindset, begin to shift your awareness to be in control, eat to LIVE, work and serve to LIVE, find the stillness that LIFE has to offer and let go, trust in the invisible Universal Divine that all is as it should be.

Mindful or Mind-FULL?

How many of us having a MILLION and one things going on in our minds ALL DAY EVERY DAY? Yea, I totally get it, having our Minds FULL We feel as though we may EXPLODE! I am the Queen at multitasking and putting so much on my plate that it pours over, making a big ugly mess!! I am learning that with giving there is also that thing called receiving. What is SUPER important is to take a moment to give our mind and soul time to rest, and I'm not talking nap or sleep time kind of rest. I think among all the beautiful chaos we forget to truly embrace the simplicity that life has to offer each and every one of us... to listen to our breath, to release the worries, doubts, fears, and anxieties that may race through our "busy" FULL minds through sweet nothingness…Think Simplicity...Here are some mindful tips to start using when you too feel like your teapot is screaming and boiling over...Once you find that place you can always come back here and remember that it's never too too far away, it's always within....

  • Never forget to "schedule in" your time for relaxation and peaceful day dreaming~Here are some simple ideas....
  • Enjoy a simple eo (essential oil) bath....
  • Pick up a good book with a warm cup of herbal tea...
  • Remind yourself of why you are amazing....
  • Positive affirmations (affirming your dreams, goals, wishes into the universe) while gazes out the window
  • Give thanks to yourself for showing up in the world and honoring the food that nourishes you to survive...
  • Take 10minutes to scan your body before bed and send love to those places that need healing..

Share this with someone you care about as a little gift, to honor those genuine moments as we take some time to slow down (even if it's just for one minute you have done good!). Remember, no judgement here, this is a time to just refocus and regroup, honoring that place of stillness mixed with a little bit of gratitude and peaceful dreaming.

Relax + Reduce the Stress!

Finding balance can be so challenging sometimes..some days fly by and we forgot to even take a moment for ourselves. If you feel like these little guys in the upper right hand corner, it's crucial that you make take time to focus on a few simple things that genuinely bring peace into your day. Simply putting on my essential oils or having a chai tea can help remind me to rebalance and refocus for the day. Life should not be so stressed…Relax and Let go….Deep breaths…………….
