This is for those that are struggling to make it by, yet still live in gratitude for what's been given under the circumstances. Tonight I was able to share an experience to help others, with my friend Sarah, who are supported by the Pluckemin Church through IHN, helping families without a home to have a warm safe place to sleep. I had the honor of hearing one of the moms stories and it's so relatable because we all have in some way dealt with some kind of struggle. Sometimes we may feel disappointed or like life is not good enough, we compare ourselves to others situations rather than respect and honor where we are in the moment, some may justify "things" as making ourselves happy, we have that internal battle of wishing for something grander... It's great to have dreams and aspirations, believe me, I am always dreaming. But the reality of it all boils down to a few simple principles...embrace the present, live in gratitude and do things with love. Without these few things no one will ever operate from a giving place and without the gift of giving, no one will ever truly receive. Embrace your own personal struggle by giving a helping hand for those that really could use it...If you are having a rough holiday season, come from the place of selflessly giving and you will awaken to what truly matters deep down.
Release the ish…..
We tend to carry a lot of, pardon my french, "shit" in our hips...stress, past grievances, guilt, shame, worry...all of this energy gets built up and repressed into this area...Opening up your hips is a very sacred and challenging (emotional) practice (believe me, I can attest to this!) Here are some great hip openers to let go of that, well, shit!!
Power Thought~
Learning to love yourself and appreciate yourself no matter where you are in your journey, it's one of the hardest but most appreciative, embrace this very moment, don't judge it, look beyond the image and search within, we are all so powerful yet forget that power we have to honor it and shine. We all have challenges, obstacles, problems, but truly finding time to focus on the place of just existing and being..priceless
Mindful or Mind-FULL?
How many of us having a MILLION and one things going on in our minds ALL DAY EVERY DAY? Yea, I totally get it, having our Minds FULL We feel as though we may EXPLODE! I am the Queen at multitasking and putting so much on my plate that it pours over, making a big ugly mess!! I am learning that with giving there is also that thing called receiving. What is SUPER important is to take a moment to give our mind and soul time to rest, and I'm not talking nap or sleep time kind of rest. I think among all the beautiful chaos we forget to truly embrace the simplicity that life has to offer each and every one of us... to listen to our breath, to release the worries, doubts, fears, and anxieties that may race through our "busy" FULL minds through sweet nothingness…Think Simplicity...Here are some mindful tips to start using when you too feel like your teapot is screaming and boiling over...Once you find that place you can always come back here and remember that it's never too too far away, it's always within....
- Never forget to "schedule in" your time for relaxation and peaceful day dreaming~Here are some simple ideas....
- Enjoy a simple eo (essential oil) bath....
- Pick up a good book with a warm cup of herbal tea...
- Remind yourself of why you are amazing....
- Positive affirmations (affirming your dreams, goals, wishes into the universe) while gazes out the window
- Give thanks to yourself for showing up in the world and honoring the food that nourishes you to survive...
- Take 10minutes to scan your body before bed and send love to those places that need healing..
Share this with someone you care about as a little gift, to honor those genuine moments as we take some time to slow down (even if it's just for one minute you have done good!). Remember, no judgement here, this is a time to just refocus and regroup, honoring that place of stillness mixed with a little bit of gratitude and peaceful dreaming.
Namaste my friends!

Power Thought of the Day….
I Turn Every Experience into an Opportunity.
Each problem has a solution. All experiences are opportunities for me to learn and grow. I am safe.
