Chill out and Sit!

Sit. Such a simple act yet we don't take it so literally. If we are sitting, we are usually doing another something ..eating..talking..reading.. ugh. We have been programmed to multitask (and believe me, I can be a pro at this!) But Imagine taking some time out for you to tune in and focus on your awareness of just, well, sitting. To be still, without any other distraction, and literally sit the stress away. And of course this is a great excuse to just "be" while it doesn't hurt to reap all the super awesome benefits from meditating while you're at it!

A place to come together and share experiences, to grow, and let go of that which no longer serves us. Building a fun, care-free, and caring community; open to learning more about ourself in all aspects, mind.body.soul. Life can be extremely busy, chaotic, distracting, and overwhelming. As a society we suffer from fatigue, depression, stress, anxiety, guilt, fear, neglect, and negativity. This is a place to be free from that, to learn techniques and solutions, helpful healthy practical tips and tricks to use into our daily life, and to bring more balance and wellness into our lives. Join together with like minded people to create a bond..growing as we learn, share ideas, inspire each other, pay it forward, and support one another through this crazy beautiful journey. Each month we will host a "Wellness Circle" event, to take time to give back to ourselves and spread that wisdom to others. You deserve it. We deserve it. A place to dream, share unique experiences with perfectly good strangers and feel the connection of the universal divine, We are all one..Why not help each other while we are along for this incredible and magical ride of Life?

 

The Wellness Circle is a place to connect people in NJ who are interested in promoting their health and that of their families. Here we can share information and events related to health, wellness, healing, and the great outdoors. This is not a place to complain or vent but a sacred place of finding solutions for our problems, we do not encourage any banter or harmful comments. We keep a positive yet releasing way to keep the peace :)

Release the ish…..

We tend to carry a lot of, pardon my french, "shit" in our hips...stress, past grievances, guilt, shame, worry...all of this energy gets built up and repressed into this area...Opening up your hips is a very sacred and challenging (emotional) practice (believe me, I can attest to this!) Here are some great hip openers to let go of that, well, shit!!

Clear Vision, Test Yourself

There are times we want to react, we all have them, but what we've been trying to teach our older daughter (who can sometimes be very dramatic lol) is that we have the choice in our reactions... "How does it make you feel?" It's easy to react, it's easy to get angry, sad, frustrated, and then play the blame game... taking that feeling or emotion out on someone else, the true test to finding peace is breathing in that moment and being mindful to the fact that this is "just a reaction" or the awareness that "this is just a feeling of energy", now how do I find the solution? You have the choice as to how you truly want to react. Do you choose to spend your day pissed off, living in that reoccurring situation in your mind, or do you choose to release the ego, let go of the story your've created, and find yourself overcome in a way that makes you feel at peace? Test this concept the next time someone ticks you off, it's challenging but really refreshing when you look at it from a clear vision.
