When you love someone, you make a sacrifice. Whether it be of your time, energy, or love. You care for it and nurture it because it means something more to you. You wish it no harm, only pure happiness. You devote your pleasure to cause it no pain. You cherish it and will give more if you have to..to heal it, free, it, bless it.
