Winter can be a time of hibernation..we tend to feel tired, lethargic, depressed, and unwilling to shine our light. Remember that this is totally a normal experience for most humans. We will want to find warmth but instead of allowing the noises to overwhelm you in your head, look towards the bright sun for guidance and direction. Each day is a new breath…a New Start!
Sit. Such a simple act yet we don't take it so literally. If we are sitting, we are usually doing another something ..eating..talking..reading.. ugh. We have been programmed to multitask (and believe me, I can be a pro at this!) But Imagine taking some time out for you to tune in and focus on your awareness of just, well, sitting. To be still, without any other distraction, and literally sit the stress away. And of course this is a great excuse to just "be" while it doesn't hurt to reap all the super awesome benefits from meditating while you're at it!
"Meditation can remove stress and replace it with a dose of inner peace. It’s one of the best tools we have to balance our emotions, deal with physical and psychological distress, and promote the peace of the present moment. But it can be tough to meditate without a teacher or guide. Meditating on your own requires some effort, while guided meditations literally walk you through a meditation and help you find a calm and peaceful state—one step at a time."
Whether you are a beginner or meditate daily, it always helps to have someone guide you along your peaceful journey with an intention...
Take some time to reflect, relax, and embrace your stillness with these guided meditations focused on healing, gratitude, letting go, and awakening….
Todays Vibes….. Sometimes you just need a moment to release and let go of all the nonsensical things to do and just be. I especially notice this when there is a full moon approaching. This was my way of venting out all the energy that was festering up inside (stress from the preparations of the holidays) and finding the stillness with my creative flow. Although I love them dearly, I decided to make these little gifts to my family to always be a constant reminder to Live.Breath.Blossom throughout our daily lives. Its truly the gift that keeps on giving. Nothing can mean more than a gift from the heart. Next time you may be blue. Grab a rock, paint it white, grab a sharpie and create your very own inspirational rocks!!! :)
How many of us having a MILLION and one things going on in our minds ALL DAY EVERY DAY? Yea, I totally get it, having our Minds FULL We feel as though we may EXPLODE! I am the Queen at multitasking and putting so much on my plate that it pours over, making a big ugly mess!! I am learning that with giving there is also that thing called receiving. What is SUPER important is to take a moment to give our mind and soul time to rest, and I'm not talking nap or sleep time kind of rest. I think among all the beautiful chaos we forget to truly embrace the simplicity that life has to offer each and every one of us... to listen to our breath, to release the worries, doubts, fears, and anxieties that may race through our "busy" FULL minds through sweet nothingness…Think Simplicity...Here are some mindful tips to start using when you too feel like your teapot is screaming and boiling over...Once you find that place you can always come back here and remember that it's never too too far away, it's always within....
Share this with someone you care about as a little gift, to honor those genuine moments as we take some time to slow down (even if it's just for one minute you have done good!). Remember, no judgement here, this is a time to just refocus and regroup, honoring that place of stillness mixed with a little bit of gratitude and peaceful dreaming.
Namaste my friends!
