FIVES TYPES OF MEDITATION:

MINDFUL MEDITATION: THIS REFERS TO IN-THE-MOMENT MEDITATION, WHICH IS BEING CONSCIOUS OF ALL THE LITTLE THINGS HAPPENING AROUND YOU.  NOT LOUD DISTRACTIONS, BUT QUIET SOUNDS, SENSATIONS, AND SO ON.  THIS FLUID OR FLOWING TYPE OF MEDITATION IS CHARACTERIZED BY CAPRICIOUSNESS; THE ABILITY TO BE AWARE WITHOUT FOCUSING ON ONE DISTRACTION.

 

FOCUS MEDITATION: IN CONTRAST, FOCUSED MEDITATION INVOLVES CLEARING YOUR MIND OF ALL THOUGHTS AND ALL IN-THE-MOMENT LITTLE THINGS, AND INSTEAD FOCUSING ON ONE ELEMENT.  IT COULD BE A SOUND, AN OBJECT, OR A SINGULAR THOUGHT.  THE MEDITATING PARTY MUST BE COMMITTED TO HOLDING ONTO THE THOUGHT.

 

SPIRITUAL MEDITATION: THIS COVERS PRAYER MEDITATION AND OTHER FORMS OF RELIGIOUS MEDITATING. WHILE THE THOUGHT IS BASED ON COMMUNICATING WITH A GOD, IT STILL INVOLVES A SIMILAR THINKING PROCESS; CALMNESS, QUIET AND USUALLY FOCUSING YOUR ATTENTION ON ONE QUESTION.

 

MOVEMENT MEDITATION: MOVEMENT MEDITATION IS CHARACTERIZED BY MOVEMENTS, WHICH ARE REPETITIVE FLOWING MOTIONS.  YOU FOCUS ON THE MOVEMENT IN THE SAME WAY AS YOU WOULD FOCUS ON A SOUND OR ON A THOUGHT.  WHILE FOCUSING ON THE MOVEMENT YOU ALSO CONCENTRATE ON YOUR DIAPHRAGM BREATHING.

 

MANTRA MEDITATION: MANTRA MEDITATION REFERS TO THE OLD WAYS OF CHANTING, ALOUD, AND ON A SPECIFIC WORD AND THOUGHT.  THE SOUNDS YOU MAKE BECOME THE OBJECT OF FOCUS.  USUALLY WORDS THAT CAUSE DEEP VIBRATIONS ARE USED; FOR EXAMPLE “OM”.

MANIFEST YOUR DREAMS

Last night, I had a Vision party open to all...I made some amazing friends that now feel like family as we embraced our deepest desires. We put the Law of Attraction into action as we set our intentions for the year..."If it's visual, it's memorable"~Susan Sly. I shared a few tips that I've learned along the way, from amazing mentors and authors, about manifesting intrinsic and extrinsic goals, how to tap into our Why and what moves us emotionally. Your word is your Law, if you say "I can, then you will", quite the contrary if you say "I can't, you won't". Dreams are possible so long as we take action upon them and make them a reality..step by step.. "Birds of a feather flock together"....We become who we surround ourselves by and I am so honored to have spent a night with so many like minded souls creating our own personal destinies together!

Release any unnecessary thoughts, feelings, emotions, guilt, anxiety….(Deep breath….let it all go). This is a time to let go of anything that no longer serves us in our lives to make room for endless possibility! Create space in your home, I have already purged "things" and all set to give back, already have my Lupus boxes ready for pickup! Indulge in some yoga, treat your body with care and release all those nasty toxins out by replenishing with lots of water, vital nutrients, and cutting out harmful ingredients, cleansing is always a great jumpstart to releasing that unnecessary junk in the trunk! Balance your life by clearing the bad and adding the good!

GRATITUDE IS THE GREATEST PRAYER

Sometimes we take for granted how simple and easy our lives are. There are still so many people that struggle throughout their day, some more than others, and sometimes we must take a moment to think about the hardships our ancestors had experienced to sincerely understand struggle, courage, and overcoming to fulfill our dreams. They had to FIGHT for their freedom. Imagine each day living Life in fear, darkness, and despair? Imagine not having a say in what you wanted and not being able to express your true nature? Whether you are Jewish or not, it is important to value the capabilities of human and admire this amazing Life lesson...As our family celebrates this day, we sit in gratitude for the Jews that filled the World with Light in a dark time when there were wicked decrees against the Jews. But the Maccabees had courage and never lost hope. Sacrifice turned the darkness into light! Always shine your light bright in gratitude and give thanks, regardless of your religion, age, race, ethnicity..we are all one held in the invisible Divine.
